Further points of interest:

The picturesque harbour of Ballintoy is accessible by the B15 or even better by foot via Whitepark Bay. Close to the harbour one can explore some dark caves, hollowed out by the sea. Situated in the bay nearby small basalt isles and rock formations of various kinds rise out of the sea. This unique landscape is of volcanic origin and attracts nature lovers as well as geologists.

Two very special examples can be found at the end of the bay close to Whitepark Bay. On the left there is a beautiful sea arch and on the right the so-called and aptly named elephant rock.
